Mr. DeSpain received his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law in 1973, where he was
elected to The Order of the Coif, was Topic Editor of The Oklahoma Law
Review, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. In his more
than thirty years of practice, Mr. DeSpain has represented numerous banks
and other financial institutions in commercial lending and regulatory
matters, and public and privately held companies and individuals in
diverse corporate, transactional, commercial real estate and financial
matters. He has served as a Director of a number of clients, including
Chairman of the Board of a national bank and member of the Board of
Directors of a title insurance company, a medical products company, and a
medical facilities development and management company.
